Arab-Israeli Dialogue
Lionel Rogosin Retrospective

While for many years he had planned to make a feature film about the peaceful coexistence of Jews and Arabs throughout history, entitled The Semites, Lionel Rogosin filmed a meeting between the artist and writer Amos Kenan and the great Palestinian poet Rashed Hussein. This is followed by two attempts to place this moment within the history of the conflict: one filmed by Lionel Rogosin in 1990 and edited by his son, and the other filmed by his son himself.

This is followed by a conversation in French and English between the filmmaker’s son, Michael Ariel Rogosin, and filmmaker Michel Khleifi.
