“Peters’ films vertrekken vanuit het feministische gedachtegoed dat het persoonlijke en, nog een stap verder, het intieme, politiek is. Het intieme wordt aangedreven door een scherpe focus op lichamelijkheid, zonder dat dit synoniem hoeft te staan voor seksualiteitsbeleving waar het al te vaak tot gereduceerd wordt. Intimiteit krijgt bij Peters een radicaal karakter, zoals Sophie K. Rosa het in haar Radical Intimacy (2023) beschrijft, waarbij de verbinding met en zorg voor zichzelf, de ander en de gemeenschap als sites of struggle worden gezien om de wereld te hervormen [...].”
