Cinema Scope Stops Print Issues

Cinema Scope’s editor-in-chief, Mark Peranson, announced the closure of the Canadian journal last week, stating it to be emotionally and financially untenable to continue working. Peranson said, “The (film) world has changed plenty since 1999, and though I’ve done my best to try and change with it, maybe it’s time for different voices to assume positions of authority.” For now, it’s unclear whether Cinema Scope will continue to publish online.
