From 9 to 11 September the fourth edition of SHHH, a filmfestival celebrating the power and poetry of silent film hosted by Monokino, takes place in Ostend.
CINEA’s annual Zomerfilmcollege (Summer Film School) will take place from 10 to 16 July at De Cinema in Antwerp. In more than fifteen talks (all in English) and twenty screenings of mostly rare archival 35mm prints, this year's edition will focus on 1970s German Romantic cinema and the 1930s oeuvre of John Ford.
Starting from March 3rd, the annual Classics Restored Festival hosted by Cinea takes place in Ghent, Antwerpen and Kortrijk, screening recently restored films from all over the world.
