Biennial of Moving Images
From September 9 to November 5, 2023, the tenth edition of the Contour Biennial of Moving Images will take place. Showcasing various forms and formats of moving image, exclusive film premieres and live events tailored to the program.
C0N10UR brings together work by artists residing in Belgium and aims to show their work in the most ideal circumstances. Six venues are chosen in order to showcase the works with care. In Mechelen, these are nona, Museum Hof van Busleyden, Cinema Lumière and De Garage. In addition to these four locations, there are two outside the city: argos (Brussels) and Extra City (Antwerp). This edition, the first to be curated by artists unites generations and styles and thus provides an excellent picture of the diversity within the contemporary Artists’ Moving Image.
