Festival En Ville! 2024

The 5th edition of Festival En ville! will take place from 29 January to 4 February 2024. The film festival opens with the Belgian premiere of Kleber Mendonça Filho’s Retratos Fantasmas [Pictures of Ghosts] (2023) at Cinema Palace. En Ville! showcases 28 films, including 10 Belgian premieres, three international competitions, and two national ones, in five cinemas in Brussels.

This year’s edition has a focus on filmmaker Narimane Mari, known for On a eu la journée bonsoir (2023), and filmmaker-editor Qutaiba Barhamji, recognized for Little Palestine: Diary of a Siege (Abdallah Al Khatib, 2021), How to Save a Dead Friend (Marusya Syroechkovskaya, 2022), and Four Daughters (Les filles d’Olfa) (Kaouther Ben Hania, 2023). They will both host a Masterclass.
