Silence, Stories, and Images that Speak
Shhh returns to Ostend for its seventh edition on the last weekend of September. The festival, the only one that “declares its love for both silent cinema and the sea,” will take place over two days (26 & 27 September 2025) across multiple locations in the city. This edition places the explicator at the center: the storyteller who, in the early days of cinema, brought images to life through voice and sound.
