Rewind, Replay: Vidéographie revisits the pioneering Belgian television programme that turned public broadcasting into a space for artistic creation, political reflection, and collective experimentation. Produced by RTBF in Liège between 1976 and 1986, Vidéographie opened television to artists such as Anne-Marie Miéville, Jean-Luc Godard, the Dardenne brothers, and Nam June Paik, among many others.
The exhibition, produced by argos in co-organization with SONUMA – Les Archives Audiovisuelles and in collaboration with Space Collection, brings together archival episodes, thematic compilations, and video works by both historical and contemporary artists, reactivating Vidéographie as a living archive for today’s digital and experimental media culture.
