“I want to do something with a camera and a recorder; do something I really like to do. So I have developed this way of working, which is quite minimal. I feel free. Whenever I want to make a film, I can start making a film. It doesn’t take too much money; it doesn’t take too much time. I’m happy about that. That’s what I know.”

“We can have a concept of eternity. But it's just a concept, created maybe by some human needs. I don't care, it's a word. Do you know what I mean? It's a word, “eternity”. If you can see that it's a word, there's no significance at all. There are other aspects in experiencing life that are so vital, important, stimulating, something to think about. But if we are stuck with words, goals, ideas, ideology, whatever, message, these preconceived ideas block you from experiencing the real elements of life, living. That's how I feel about it. That's what I said in the film.”
