Yannick Haenel
Yannick Haenel (1967) is a French writer and columnist. His bibliography includes Les Petits Soldats (1996), Introduction à la mort française (2001), Évoluer parmi les avalanches (2003), Cercle (2007), which won the Prix Décembre and Prix Roger-Nimier, Jan Karski (2009), Les renards pâles (2013) and Tiens ferme ta couronne (2017). He has also written several essays, including À mon seul désir (2005) and La Solitude Caravage (2019). He is also the co-founder of Ligne de risque, together with François Meyronnis. He is a regular contributor to the magazine Transfuge and has written columns for the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo since 2015. In 2013, he published a book together with Claire Angelini on the French city Drancy titled Drancy la muette (Éditions Photosynthèses).
