Raymond Bellour
Raymond Bellour (1939) is a French scholar, writer and curator. His work is published across a wide range of articles and books addressing an equally wide range of topics in the fields of cinema, literature and moving-image art. His works include L’analyse du film (1979), Le corps du cinéma (2009) and Pensées du cinéma (2016). He is an Emeritus Research Professor at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Paris, which he entered in 1964. He helped found the journal Trafic in 1991, with Serge Daney and Jean-Claude Biette, and is still a member of its permanent editorial committee. He is also the editor of the complete works of the poet Henri Michaux.
