23. De beeldenstorm

A film about De Melkweg [The Milky Way], a cultural hub founded in the 1970s in Amsterdam. A unique venue for music, dance, theater, and film, it also served as a special multicultural meeting place for visitors from around the world. Van der Keuken described this fragmentarily edited film as “a Melkweg-on-film, a fictional space where the world flows through and where several lives intersect.”

On the occasion of the retrospective, Sabzian published an Issue featuring Van der Keuken’s writings, available in English, Dutch and French. A collection of texts on his work by various authors will be published in the coming weeks.
